The Morning After finds the crew of the Lady Michelle waking up after a wild night of partying. The hangovers are real, but there's work to be done as they prepare for another charter. Chef Mathew is feeling the pressure to create a flawless brunch to impress the guests, but he's struggling with some new recipes. The deck crew is also feeling the heat as they work on getting the tender out for the day, but tensions between Malia and David start to rise when David voices his concern over Malia's leadership style.
Meanwhile, the guests arrive and they have some high expectations. The primary is a self-proclaimed "beauty queen" who is looking for a luxurious and memorable experience. The crew is busy working to make sure they deliver, but things start to go awry when a mishap in the kitchen causes a delay in brunch service. Chef Mathew is quick on his feet though, and teaches a yoga session while he waits for the food to be ready.
As the day goes on, the guests are enjoying the yacht's amenities, including a water slide and jet skis. However, tensions start to rise among the crew, as David continues to voice his concerns over Malia's leadership. Malia becomes defensive, and the two have a heated discussion about their different management styles.
The evening's dinner service is another chance for the crew to impress the guests, but a small mistake brings the whole thing crashing down. The primary's dietary restrictions were not properly communicated to the kitchen, causing her to be served a dish she cannot eat. The crew quickly tries to course-correct, but the damage is done, and the primary is not happy.
Back on deck, the atmosphere among the crew is tense, with David and Malia still at odds. The other crew members try to diffuse the situation, but the tension is palpable. The episode ends with everyone exhausted and wondering how they will make it through the rest of the charter.
