Ep 17. Felice Herrig vs Heather Clark Full Fight
- March 28, 2013
Felice Herrig and Heather Clark both have something to prove in this highly anticipated matchup. Herrig, with a professional record of 10-6, is coming off a split decision loss to Alexa Grasso in her last fight and is looking to bounce back with a win. Clark, on the other hand, has been on a two-fight losing streak since joining Bellator and is determined to get back in the win column.
The fight starts out with both fighters feeling each other out, throwing jabs and leg kicks. Herrig is the aggressor, constantly pushing forward and throwing punches and kicks. Clark, meanwhile, is more patient and waits for her opportunities to counter. The first round is a close one, with both fighters landing some good shots but neither one really taking control of the fight.
In the second round, Herrig starts to find her rhythm. She lands a couple of hard shots that rock Clark, but Clark is able to recover and continues to fight on. Herrig is more active, throwing more strikes and using her footwork to stay out of Clark's range. Clark tries to take the fight to the ground, but Herrig is able to defend the takedown and keep the fight standing.
The third round is a back and forth affair, with both fighters having their moments. Herrig continues to be the more active fighter, throwing more strikes and keeping Clark on her toes. Clark, meanwhile, lands some hard shots of her own and tries to take the fight to the ground. However, Herrig is able to defend the takedown and keep the fight standing.
In the end, the judges score the fight in favor of one of the fighters. The result is a closely contested battle that will go down as one of the best fights in Bellator history. Herrig and Clark both put on a great performance and earn the respect of fans and fellow fighters alike. They will both look to build on this performance and continue their careers in Bellator.
