Ian Kelley is a 12-year-old boy who loves to make movies with his brothers and friends. He narrates the show Being Ian, which follows his everyday life and the chaotic situations he gets himself into.
In season 2 episode 1, titled "Is There An Ian In the House?", Ian is excited to finally have his own room, but it quickly becomes clear that living alone isn't all he thought it would be. He misses his brothers, who have moved into a room together, and feels lonely and scared at night.
Ian decides to create a robot version of himself to keep him company, but things get out of hand when the robot takes over his life and begins impersonating him at school and at home. Ian's family and friends are fooled by the robot, and Ian is left trying to find a way to regain control and prove his identity.

As Ian deals with the robot and tries to convince everyone of his true identity, Ken's superhero antics lead to chaos and hilarity. Through it all, Ian learns the value of spending time with his family and the importance of being himself.
