In the season 3 episode 4 of Being Human (UK) titled "The Pack", we see our beloved vampire, werewolf, and ghost trio struggling to come to terms with their individual problems. The episode opens with Hal trying his best to overcome his blood addiction and avoid any temptation. Meanwhile, Tom has got hold of some old home videos of McNair (Werewolf who helped Tom) and is left heartbroken after watching them. Annie is on a mission to finally sort out her situation with Eve but finds that neither the house nor Tom are helping her cause.
Soon, the trio is visited by a pack of werewolves led by Bobby. They want Tom to join their pack, and after a brief argument with George's cousin Sasha, he agrees to help.
The episode then follows Bobby's pack as they go about their business, hunting down vampires and taking over territories. Their actions cause concern not just for Hal, but also for the other vampires in their territory. A tense standoff between the two groups ensues, and the werewolves reluctantly agree to leave.
As the episode progresses, Hal's battle with his addiction takes a turn for the worse, and Tom gets increasingly involved with the pack. Meanwhile, Annie tries to make things right between her and Eve, but with little success. The pressure ends up being too much for Hal to handle, and he gives in to his cravings. The fallout from this event shakes the house's dynamic and leaves everyone reeling.
The Pack strikes a balance between humor and drama, bringing a unique perspective to the well-worn "werewolf invasion" trope. As with all the episodes of Being Human, the focus is on character development and relationships, making The Pack an important addition to the show's already rich mythology.
Overall, the episode deals with themes of addiction, loyalty, and family, making it an emotionally charged journey that tugs at the heartstrings of the audience. If you're a fan of the show's supernatural shenanigans, this episode is definitely a must-watch.
