In the season 3 premiere of Being Human (UK), we are introduced to a teenager named Lia who accidentally dies after taking a party drug at a rave. Her spirit is unable to move on and she becomes trapped in the house where she died, haunting anyone who enters.
Meanwhile, our three supernatural housemates, vampire Mitchell, werewolf George, and ghost Annie, are dealing with their own problems. Mitchell is struggling to stay sober and resist his cravings for blood, George and his girlfriend Nina are grappling with the difficulties of their werewolf transformations, and Annie is still trying to navigate the afterlife and come to terms with her death.
The trio finds themselves drawn to Lia's house after a string of mysterious deaths in the area leads them to investigate. At first, they believe that the deaths may be related to a group of vampires who have recently arrived in town, but soon they discover the truth about Lia and her otherworldly powers.
As they try to help Lia move on and find peace, they must also confront their own demons and fears. Mitchell's struggle with addiction takes a dangerous turn, George and Nina's relationship is put to the test, and Annie is forced to confront the haunting memories of her past life.
Overall, the episode is a powerful exploration of death, loss, and the struggles that come with being human (or not quite human). It sets the stage for an intense and emotional season as our characters face new challenges and old demons.
