In the season 2 premiere, titled "Cure and Contagion," we find our trio of supernatural roommates –Aidan, Sally, and Josh–trying to move on from the events of the first season and adjust to their new lives. Aidan, a vampire, goes to his maker Bishop to try and build some sort of peace between their two factions. Bishop, however, has other plans; he wants Aidan to stop trying to fit in with humans and embrace his vampire nature. Meanwhile, Josh, a werewolf, is desperate to find a cure for his curse but isn't having any luck. Sally, a ghost, is trying to learn how to control her abilities to interact with the living world.
Things take a turn when a virus spreads throughout Boston that turns people into violent, zombie-like creatures. Aidan discovers that the virus was created by a group of vampires who wanted to create more of their kind by turning humans. Aidan and his vampire friend Henry team up to stop the spread of the virus, while Sally and Josh try to help the infected people in their own way.
As they work to stop the virus, the roommates also face other challenges. Aidan's relationship with his human girlfriend, Rebecca, becomes strained as he tries to maintain his double life. Josh is forced to confront the fact that his werewolf transformation has caused harm to innocent people. Sally becomes obsessed with a living couple who moves into their house, which only causes more problems.
The episode ends with a cliffhanger that leaves the fate of the roommates up in the air. Will they be able to stop the virus and protect the people of Boston? Can they find a way to cure Josh's werewolf curse? And what will become of their relationships with each other and with the human world around them?
Overall, "Cure and Contagion" sets up an exciting and suspenseful season 2 for Being Human. The episode explores themes of identity, acceptance, and the lengths people will go to in order to protect themselves and those they care about. With its blend of drama, horror, and humor, Being Human continues to be a unique and engaging take on the supernatural genre.
