Ep 6. Shovel Off to Buffalo

Meanwhile, the building's superintendent, Bob, is determined to go out and clear the snow from the front entrance of the building but ends up getting trapped under a huge pile of snow. Becker and Jake team up to rescue him, using snow shovels to dig him out.

As they make their way back to the clinic, they run into a young woman who is in labor. Becker and Jake rush her to the hospital, where she successfully delivers her baby. Although relieved, they are now stuck at the hospital due to the worsening snowstorm. With no available taxis or other modes of transportation, they decide to walk back to the clinic.

Along the way, they find a homeless man who is lying unconscious in the snow. Moved by his plight, Becker and Jake decide to take him back to the clinic and care for him. This compassionate act embodies Becker's growth as a character, as he has previously been portrayed as insensitive and snarky towards many of his patients.

As the episode comes to a close, the snowstorm finally subsides, and Becker's patients begin to leave his clinic. However, he is left with a sense of fulfillment after successfully helping the homeless man and delivering a baby in the midst of a snowstorm.
