The episode Cow Tipping from season 4 of Beavis and Butt-Head starts off with the two troublemakers sitting on their couch, flipping channels on the TV. They stumble upon a documentary about cow tipping, and are immediately intrigued by the concept. For those who may not know, cow tipping is the act of sneaking up on a sleeping cow and pushing it over.
Beavis and Butt-Head are convinced that they can go cow tipping themselves, and decide to head out to a nearby farm to give it a try. Along the way, they stop off at a convenience store to buy some snacks. Butt-Head tries to steal some candy, but gets caught by the store clerk and is forced to put it back.
Once they arrive at the farm, they begin their mission to find some cows to tip. They search around the property, but have no luck. They spot a barn in the distance, and decide to check it out. Inside, they come across a group of cows sleeping. Beavis eagerly runs up to one of the cows and attempts to push it over, but fails miserably. Butt-Head gives it a try, but also fails.
They decide to regroup and come up with a plan. Butt-Head comes up with the idea to lure the cows to a nearby cliff, where they will push them over. They start to gather some hay to use as bait, but end up attracting the attention of the farmer, who catches them in the act. He chases Beavis and Butt-Head off his property, and they run away in fear.
Back at home, Beavis and Butt-Head continue to watch the cow tipping documentary on TV. They see a group of guys successfully tipping a cow, and feel defeated. However, they soon realize that the cow in the video was actually a mechanical cow used for training purposes. Beavis suggests that they build their own mechanical cow to practice on, and Butt-Head agrees.
They head to a junkyard to look for parts, and soon come across a washing machine that they believe will work perfectly. They start to brainstorm on their plans to make the cow, but are interrupted by the owner of the junkyard, who wants them to leave.
They head back to their house, where they begin to assemble their mechanical cow. They attach the washing machine drum to a wooden frame, and add some legs to make it resemble a cow. They set it up outside, and begin to practice tipping it over. At first, they struggle, but eventually they get the hang of it.
They decide that they are ready to try tipping a real cow again, and head back to the farm. This time, they spot a group of cows that are standing up, and realize that they have been doing it wrong. Beavis explains that cow tipping only works on sleeping cows, and Butt-Head is embarrassed that they didn't know that.
They continue to search for a sleeping cow, and finally come across one that is snoozing in the grass. Beavis runs up and tries to push it over, but again fails. Butt-Head gives it a try, but also fails. They decide to each take one side of the cow and push together, but still have no luck.
Out of nowhere, the owner of the farm appears and catches them in the act once again. He chases them off, but they refuse to give up. They head back home, determined to build a better mechanical cow and try again.
Overall, Cow Tipping is a classic Beavis and Butt-Head episode that showcases the duo's ridiculous antics and brings viewers along for the ride. While not the most intellectual or sophisticated show around, it's a great choice for anyone in the mood for some mindless humor and non-stop laughs.
