Butt Is It Art? is the nineteenth episode of season four of Beavis and Butt-Head. As the title suggests, the episode revolves around the topic of art. In the opening scene, the duo is in their classroom and are tasked with creating a piece of art for their art assignment. While Butt-Head suggests drawing "chicks with big hooters", Beavis is more interested in creating something that can be considered "real art".
The duo decides to visit a local art museum to get some inspiration for their assignment. They don't seem to understand the art pieces on display and instead make fun of them. They then come across a display of modern art, which consists of a pile of junk and trash. But sadly, they misunderstand the meaning behind the art and mistake it for an actual junkyard.
Butt-Head then suggests that they create a piece of art that is just as silly as the modern art they saw at the museum. They gather various items from around their house, including a vacuum cleaner, an old tire, a traffic cone, and a broken TV, to create their masterpiece. They then present their artwork to their art teacher, who is completely unimpressed and gives them a failing grade.
The two boys are disappointed with the results of their creation and try to figure out what went wrong. They then come across a documentary about an art auction and decide to create a new piece of art that will impress the art world. They set out on their mission to create what they believe is a masterpiece.
The rest of the episode sees Beavis and Butt-Head working hard to perfect their artwork, which includes strange and hilarious scenes like Butt-Head using a toaster to melt some plastic, and Beavis using a blowtorch to fix their sculpture. They receive some unexpected help when a couple of snobbish art critics come across their work and admire it.
Beavis and Butt-Head's artwork eventually makes it to the auction, and they are ecstatic when it sells for a large sum of money. Before they can bask in their success, however, they come across the fact that their artwork has been stolen from the auction house. They then try to track down the thieves in an attempt to get their artwork back.
The episode ends on a happy note when Beavis and Butt-Head's artwork is returned to them, and they are featured on the news as successful artists. It's a hilarious and entertaining episode that showcases the duo's unique perspective on the art world. Overall, Butt Is It Art? is a must-watch for fans of Beavis and Butt-Head, and it's sure to provide plenty of laughs.
