The first round of the game is called "Fast Track," where the teams race to identify seven songs as quickly as possible. Points are awarded for speed and accuracy, with the team who identifies all seven songs the fastest earning bonus points.

After the first round, the team with the least amount of points is eliminated and the remaining two teams move on to the next round, called "Touchdown." In this round, the teams take turns choosing a category and attempting to identify the song being played. Points are awarded for correctly identifying the song and naming the artist.

The team with the most points at the end of this round advances to the final round, "The Final Countdown." In this round, the winning team has 60 seconds to identify as many songs as possible in different categories. Each correct answer earns additional money towards their grand prize winnings.

Throughout the entire game, the teams have the opportunity to "Beat Shazam," by correctly identifying a song before the show's AI technology, "Shazam," can identify it. If successful, the team earns additional points towards their total score.
