Ep 9. Red Wind

In Baywatch season 5 episode 9, entitled "Red Wind", the lifeguards of Baywatch face a series of challenges as a Santa Ana windstorm swoops through Los Angeles. The winds bring with them a host of problems, including raging wildfires, power outages, and downed trees.

At the start of the episode, we see Cody (played by David Chokachi) preparing to go out for a surf, despite the ominous weather conditions. However, as he paddles out into the ocean, a gust of wind knocks him off his board and drags him out to sea. Meanwhile, Cody struggles to stay afloat in the churning sea.

As the day wears on, the Santa Ana winds continue to wreak havoc on the city. Several houses catch fire and the lifeguards are called in to help evacuate the residents. Mitch and his team struggle to keep up with the demand for rescues and emergency assistance, and tensions run high as they battle exhaustion and frustration.

Amidst all this chaos, a group of reckless surfers show up at the pier, determined to catch some waves in the treacherous conditions. Mitch tries to warn them off, but they refuse to listen, and soon find themselves in serious trouble. With the winds howling and the surf churning, it's up to the Baywatch team to save the day once again.

In "Red Wind," the show explores the raw power of nature and the bravery of those who put their lives on the line to keep others safe. As always, the Baywatch team rises to the occasion, showing courage and resilience in the face of danger.
