Ep 2. Water

In Battlestar Galactica season 1 episode 2, titled "Water," the surviving humans aboard the Battlestar Galactica face a new crisis as the ship's water supply begins to run dangerously low. With the Galactica traveling through space, there's no way to simply land on a planet and fill up.

As the crew scrambles to conserve what water they have left, tensions begin to run high. The situation becomes even more dire when a leak is discovered in one of the ship's water tanks, further depleting their already limited supply.

Meanwhile, Commander Adama assigns a team to investigate a possible source of fresh water on a nearby planet. Led by Lieutenant Helo, the team sets out in a Raptor to gather intel.

Back aboard the Galactica, President Roslin tries to do her part to ease the panic among the fleet. She meets with the influential Dr. Baltar, who has been tasked with researching a way to detect Cylons (the humanoid robots responsible for the destruction of the human race).

While the water crisis could potentially bring the fleet together to work towards a common goal, tensions continue to simmer just below the surface. Commander Adama must navigate this delicate balance while also trying to make sure his people don't die of thirst.
