In Batman: The Animated Series season 1 episode 46, titled "The Laughing Fish," the infamous Joker has a diabolical new plan to make his mark on Gotham City. Using a chemical formula that causes fish to resemble his own twisted grin, the Clown Prince of Crime sets out to copyright his creation and make a fortune off of licensing fees.
As the Joker's scheme begins to unfold, Commissioner Gordon and the rest of the police force are left baffled and helpless to stop him. Batman, however, is not so easily deterred. With the help of his trusty sidekick Robin, the Dark Knight sets out to unravel the Joker's plan and put a stop to his latest reign of terror.
But the Joker is one step ahead of the Caped Crusader at every turn, always seeming to be one step ahead of the law. As the stakes get higher and the danger increases, Batman knows he must think fast and act even faster if he hopes to thwart the Joker's evil plan and save the city from his deadly grasp.
