Ep 3. Restoration Week

In the third episode of season 8 of Barnwood Builders, the team takes on several restoration projects throughout the week. The first project is a log cabin that has been standing for over 200 years in Virginia. The team must carefully dismantle the cabin to preserve its original materials and then rebuild it in a new location. The process requires strategic planning to prevent any damage or loss of the historic structure.

Next, the team travels to a farmhouse in West Virginia that was built in the early 1800s. The farmhouse has fallen into disrepair and is in need of extensive restoration. The team works to salvage as much of the original wood as possible and rebuild the farmhouse to its former glory. They use traditional building methods to ensure the authenticity of the restored structure.

Throughout the week, the Barnwood Builders also take on several smaller restoration projects, including fixing up an old wooden wagon and restoring a vintage Coca-Cola sign. Each project requires attention to detail and a passion for preserving history.
