In Barney and Friends season 1 episode 26, titled "Let's Go to the Farm," Barney and the gang take a trip to a farm to learn about animals and where our food comes from. The episode begins with Barney asking the children if they know where their food comes from, and they respond with various answers such as the grocery store and the refrigerator.

Barney then introduces them to Grandpa Green, who owns the farm they will be visiting. The group sets off on a tour of the farm, starting in the barn where they meet the farm animals – cows, pigs, chickens, and horses. The children are excited to see the animals up close and are fascinated by their behaviors and sounds. Barney leads the group in singing "Old McDonald Had a Farm" and "The Farmer in the Dell" as they walk around the barn.

After the barn, Grandpa Green shows the children the vegetable and fruit gardens. He explains how different fruits and vegetables grow and the importance of taking care of the soil and plants. The children get to pick some strawberries and apples to take home with them.

Next, the group visits the milking parlor, where they watch Grandpa Green milk a cow. He explains the process and shows the children how the milk is collected and processed. Barney leads the group in singing a song about milk and its nutritional benefits.

The children also get a chance to ride on a tractor and help collect eggs from the chicken coop. Grandpa Green teaches them how to handle the eggs gently and explains how chickens lay eggs.

After the tour, the group sits down for a picnic lunch that they had brought with them. Grandpa Green prepares them some fresh apple juice and tells them stories about farming and his childhood. Barney leads the group in singing a song of thanks for the food and for Grandpa Green's hospitality.

As the episode comes to an end, Barney thanks Grandpa Green for showing them around the farm and teaching them about the importance of agriculture. The children express their gratitude and say how much fun they had. Grandpa Green invites the children to come back anytime to visit the farm and learn more about farming.

"Let's Go to the Farm" is a fun and educational episode that teaches children about farming, agriculture, and where their food comes from. The episode uses catchy songs and engaging visuals to keep children entertained while also delivering important messages about the environment and healthy living. Overall, it is a great way for children to learn more about the world around them and how they can make a difference in it.
