Jon Taffer heads to one of the worst party bars in America, the London Belle, a nightclub located in the heart of Long Beach, California. The bar is known for its twerking contests, cheap drinks, and rowdy crowds that often result in fights and security issues.
Taffer meets with the owner, Aaron, who admits that he has no experience running a bar and has been relying on his general manager, Kevin, to run the show. However, Kevin's lack of management skills has resulted in a staff that doesn't respect him, and the bar is losing money left and right.
To make matters worse, Taffer discovers that the bar has been serving customers without a liquor license, and the London Belle is at risk of being shut down permanently. Taffer wastes no time and gets to work revamping the bar's business plan, improving the decor, and training the staff to provide better service.
Taffer also wants to change the bar's reputation as a "twerk bar" and bring in a more diverse crowd. He hires a professional dance team to show the staff how to properly create a fun and energetic party atmosphere without resorting to cheap gimmicks like twerking contests.
As the renovations continue, tensions rise between Kevin and the rest of the staff, who feel that he's not doing enough to help the bar succeed. Taffer confronts Kevin about his lack of leadership skills and offers him a chance to step up and prove himself.
On the night of the relaunch, the London Belle is unrecognizable. The decor is sleek and modern, and the entire staff is dressed in matching uniforms. The dance team puts on a high-energy performance that gets the crowd up and dancing, and the bar starts making money again.
However, not everything goes smoothly. One of the bartenders gets into a physical altercation with a drunk customer, and Taffer is forced to step in and diffuse the situation before it gets out of hand.
In the end, Taffer praises Kevin for stepping up and taking on a leadership role, and the London Belle is back on track to becoming a successful bar. The staff is motivated and committed to providing great service, and Taffer hopes that the bar's new reputation as a fun and welcoming spot will attract a new and diverse crowd.
