After qualifying for IBC, each band draws a genre for their fusion song. Royalty-Free gets a Rajasthani folk singer, while Radhe's band gets paired with Rock, with Mahi as their mentor. Radhe is shocked by the pairing and tries to replace Mahi, but Mahi refuses. Mahi criticizes Radhe's voice for the genre and, impressed by Rajendra's demonstration, suggests Rajendra sing lead. Radhe, defensive about family issues, argues with Mahi. Mahi insists he can't mentor a band that ignores his advice. Radhe argues with Ananya, believing Mahi is sabotaging the gharana system, but Ananya counters that Mahi is just doing his job. She supports Mahi's choice of Rajendra as the lead singer. Radhe speaks to Rajendra, and they have a heart-to-heart. Rajendra advises Radhe that Mahi can only create a divide if they allow it. Radhe accepts Mahi's guidance and admits his earlier resistance was wrong. Mahi, surprised, reminds Radhe of past tensions but continues training them. Mahi trains the band with Raje
