Ash and Eiji arrive at Cape Cod, taking refuge at the beach house of one of Ash's contacts, Max. While Eiji is excited to explore the quaint town, Ash is plagued by memories of his past. Flashbacks show Ash as a young child, visiting a museum with his abusive brother and being sexually assaulted by a wealthy older man.
Meanwhile, in New York, Dino is furious that Ash has escaped and puts pressure on his subordinates to track him down. He enlists the help of a corrupt police officer named Jenkins, who has a personal vendetta against Ash and the gang.
Back in Cape Cod, Ash visits a cemetery where his father is buried. Max and Eiji accompany him and learn more about his troubled upbringing. Ash reveals to them that his father was a soldier during the Vietnam War and suffered from severe PTSD, leading him to commit suicide.
As the sun sets, the three return to Max's beach house, where they discover that Jenkins and his men have tracked them down. A tense standoff ensues, leaving Ash, Eiji, and Max in grave danger.
