Ep 1. Face Of The Franchise

Spencer Strasmore, a retired NFL player turned financial manager, is back for a second season in the hit HBO series "Ballers". In the first episode, titled "Face Of The Franchise", Spencer is dealing with the aftermath of last season’s career-ending hit that left him questioning his role in the world of football.

The episode begins with Spencer at the funeral of his friend and former football teammate, Rodney. Throughout the episode, Spencer deals with a range of issues, including trying to recruit new clients, dealing with Joe’s antics, and helping Vernon Littlefield, an NFL player he represents, get back on the field after a severe injury. Meanwhile, Spencer's friend and business partner, Jason Antolotti, tries to juggle his responsibilities with supporting his new girlfriend, who has decided to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.

As the episode draws to a close, Spencer continues to try and convince Travis to sign with Anderson Financial. He eventually agrees and it becomes clear that Spencer's fortunes may be looking up.
