After Marucho demonstrates that the Brawlers' phantom data is the same as the data Keith received; the newest member of the Brawlers convinces them to let him outfit Drago with Battle Gear. They stage a battle in Bakugan Interspace to gather crucial battle data on Drago. Keith offers to be the opponent and dawns his Spectra mask again. Because Drago is fighting with a hybrid fusion version of the Battle Gear, his body begins to reject it causing him great pain.
