In Bakugan Battle Brawlers season 1 episode 22, titled "Drago's On Fire," our heroes Dan and Drago face off against Masquerade and his sinister Bakugan, Hydranoid. The stakes are incredibly high, as the victor will be one step closer to collecting the Infinity Core, a powerful artifact that could tip the scales of the entire battle in their favor.
The episode starts off with Dan and Drago arriving at a mysterious location deep in the woods, following a clue that they believe could lead them to the Infinity Core. However, they quickly realize that they are not alone when Masquerade and his henchmen, Alice and Chan Lee, show up to challenge them. The two sides exchange heated words before the battle begins.
Hydranoid starts off strong, attacking Drago fiercely and forcing him to retreat. Dan directs Drago to take cover behind a nearby rock, but the damage is already done. Drago's attacks are weakened by his injuries, and Masquerade seems to have the upper hand. However, Dan is not one to give up easily.
As the two Bakugan continue to exchange blows, Dan makes a bold decision and commands Drago to use his special attack, Dragon Flame. This attack has the potential to turn the tide of the battle, but it also puts Drago in incredible danger. As Drago charges up his attack, his body begins to overheat. Flames start to erupt from his body, and Dan realizes that he might have pushed his partner too far.
Despite the risk, Drago unleashes his Dragon Flame attack, burning Hydranoid and giving Dan and Drago the upper hand. However, the victory is short-lived. Masquerade reveals a powerful new ability, Darkus Burst, which creates a massive explosion that knocks Drago out of the sky and leaves him unconscious.
As Dan and Drago struggle to recover, Masquerade and his gang make their escape, leaving Dan and his friends to pick up the pieces. Drago's condition deteriorates, and it becomes clear that he's suffered serious injuries from the battle. Dan is devastated, feeling guilty for pushing Drago too hard and risking his life.
In the end, Drago pulls through, but not without consequences. Dan learns an important lesson about the dangers of pushing his partner too far, and he redoubles his commitment to working together with Drago as a team, rather than putting his own desires ahead of their partnership.
Overall, "Drago's On Fire" is a tense and dramatic episode that showcases the fierce rivalries and high stakes at the heart of the Bakugan Battle Brawlers universe. It's a thrilling watch for fans of the series, and it sets the stage for even more exciting adventures to come.
