Baki The Grappler is an anime that is based on Keisuke Itagaki's manga of the same name. The story follows Baki Hanma, a young martial artist who wants to surpass his father Yujiro Hanma, the strongest creature on Earth. Baki trains every day to become stronger and improve his skills, hoping to one day defeat his father.

In the first episode of season 1, entitled "Moving Towards Destiny," we are introduced to Baki Hanma. The episode starts with a prologue in which we see a group of death row inmates who are discussing their proclivity towards violence. They talk about their desires to become the strongest and the most feared criminals in the world. One of the inmates, Dorian, tells the others that there is a young martial artist named Baki Hanma who is said to be very strong and who could be a challenge for them. The group decides to go after Baki, hoping to defeat him and gain even more notoriety.

Then, we are introduced to Baki himself. He is shown training in his dojo, working hard to improve his skills. Baki's mother, Emi Akezawa, enters the dojo and urges him to rest. She tells him that he has been training non-stop for days and needs to take a break. Baki, however, is determined to become stronger and refuses to rest. He believes that, in order to surpass his father and become the strongest in the world, he must train harder than anyone else.

Later on, Baki meets with one of his friends and they discuss the recent news about the death row inmates. Baki's friend warns him to be careful, as the inmates are dangerous and could pose a threat to him. Baki brushes off the warning, telling his friend that he is not afraid of anyone and will face any opponent head-on.

The episode then switches to another scene where we see Dorian and his fellow inmates on the run, having escaped from prison. They stop at a gas station and begin to cause havoc, attacking the customers and stealing from the store. Baki happens to be passing by and sees what is happening. Without hesitation, he jumps in to stop them and engages in a fight with Dorian and his violent group.

The fight scenes in this episode are intense, as we see Baki using his impressive martial arts skills to take on multiple opponents at once. The animation and artwork in these scenes are beautifully done, with fluid movements and vibrant colors that add to the intensity of the fight.

As the episode comes to a close, we see Baki having defeated all of the inmates except for Dorian. Dorian challenges Baki to a final fight, and Baki accepts. The two face off in a dramatic showdown, and the episode ends with a cliffhanger, leaving viewers eager to see what will happen next.

Overall, the first episode of Baki The Grappler is an exciting introduction to the series. It sets the stage for the story and gives us a glimpse into Baki's drive and determination to become the strongest martial artist in the world. The fight scenes are intense and well-choreographed, and the art and animation are stunning. This episode is a great start to what promises to be an action-packed series full of thrilling fights and compelling characters.
