Ep 3. The Frog Princess

As Bagpuss begins season 1 episode 3, viewers are introduced to the titular Frog Princess. The pink-skinned amphibian is found by Emily, who brings her to the shop for the other toys to examine. The other toys are skeptical of the Frog Princess's claims of being a princess, but they can't deny her beauty and charm.

As the prince leans down to kiss the Frog Princess, something truly magical happens. The curse is lifted and the Frog Princess is transformed back into the beautiful princess she was before.

In the end, the prince asks the Frog Princess to stay with him in the castle, but she knows that her place is with her people in her own land. She thanks the toys for their help and disappears in a cloud of mist, leaving the toys feeling a mixture of sadness and joy.
