Meanwhile, Alya and Jax team up to write a song for their showcase piece. But their creative differences threaten to tear them apart, and they realize they need to learn how to compromise if they want their collaboration to succeed.
As the showcase approaches, tensions rise and passions flare. Vanessa and Miles come to blows over their differing opinions on the choreography, while Bianca's insecurities threaten to sabotage her performance. Alya and Jax also struggle to find common ground, but eventually come together to create a song that showcases both of their unique talents.
In the end, the showcase is a success, and the students of Keaton School of the Arts come together to celebrate their hard work and newfound friendships. "Plays Well With Others" is an episode about learning to work with others, even when it's difficult, and the joys that come from creating something truly special as a team.
