It is the year 2257, Earth has just survived a long war with Minbari. The inhabitants of Minbari are technologically superior to the people of Earth, and we have just barely survived the war. Babylon 5 is a five-mile long space station. It is neutral territory and quickly becomes the meeting place for many human and non-human inhabitants. As the first crew arrives from Earth, they quickly learn that they are not the dominate species, but one of many. As they learn to adjust to their new reality they teach lessons they grow to understand some universal truths.

Babylon 5:The Movies is a collection of six full length feature films, made for television, in the 1990's. The movies examine various social problems of the 1990's in the safe confines of science fiction. The tensions between humans and non-humans mirrors our own problems with nationalism, racism, and the fear of the unfamiliar.
