When she finally makes it back to school, she's late and has to endure an embarrassing encounter with her teacher, Yukari-sensei.

They're impressed by the luxuriousness of her home and even more impressed when Chiyo shows them her adorable pet dog, Mr. Tadakichi.
As they spend time at Chiyo's house, the girls engage in various activities, including playing games and trying on different outfits. Eventually, Osaka falls asleep and has a strange dream about a talking piece of bread. When she wakes up, she rejoins her friends, and they all head home.
Along the way, they encounter a fortune-teller and decide to have their fortunes told. Tomo and Yomi receive encouraging prophecies, while Osaka's fortune predicts that she's going to have a difficult time ahead. Despite this, Osaka feels content and happy just to be with her friends.
