In Ax Men season 3, episode 8, titled Assault by Air, the teams of loggers are faced with the challenge of transporting their huge logs from the remote forests to the mills. With limited options for transportation, it becomes a competition as to who can get their logs out the quickest and most efficiently.
One team, the Rygaard crew, employs a daring tactic of having a helicopter airlift their logs out of the forest. The helicopter pilot is skilled and has done this type of work before, but with high winds and heavy logs, it is still a dangerous mission. Meanwhile, the team on the ground struggles to keep up with the constant flow of logs coming their way.
Another team, the Swamp Man crew, is faced with a different challenge as they have to navigate their logs down narrow waterways. Using a combination of boats and bulldozers, they work tirelessly to clear the path for their logs. However, when a major obstacle presents itself, they are forced to come up with a creative solution to keep their logs moving.
Meanwhile, the Conner crew faces their own set of obstacles as they try to move their logs across a rickety railroad bridge. With a limited amount of time and resources, they have to act quickly to ensure their logs make it safely across. In the end, it becomes a test of their skills and ingenuity to see who can get their logs out of the forest first.
As tensions rise and the competition heats up, each team must overcome their individual challenges to stay in the game. It's a hectic race against time as they all strive to come out on top and claim the title of champion loggers.
