Jenna tries to move on with her life after her recent break up with Matty, but finds it difficult as he is still a big part of her social circle. In an effort to move on, Jenna agrees to go on a date with a new guy, Luke, but things don't go as planned when she realizes she is not over Matty yet. Meanwhile, Tamara has her own relationship drama to deal with when she discovers she may have feelings for a guy she previously thought was just a hookup. As Jenna and Tamara navigate their love lives, they also have to deal with the stress of their podcast project for their creative writing class, which is not going as smoothly as they had hoped.
