The Avengers was a popular British spy thriller which aired between 1961 and 1969. The show received a total of four Emmy nominations. It starred Patrick McNee as the invincible, very professional, John Steed, a charming, urbane, British espionage agent who worked with a sultry young female partner, Emma Peel (played by Diana Rigg). Nearly every week the team battled criminal foes who threatened world peace or safety. Sometimes the plots became quite complex. Great onscreen personal charisma existed between the two leading characters. The television show developed a loyal following and even acquired a sequel a few years later.

Lord Volk has summoned the three to come to Volk City to enter a gladiatorial combat against him. The winner would take all of the loser's possessions. The fate of Mars and the life of one girl hang in the balance.

Nei's condition continues to worsen with medicine no longer taking any effect. Mr. Speedy suggests visiting a nearby city that has the medical facilities able to heal Nei.

10. Frozen

With Nei recovered, they begin their journey again and Layla comes across Cross, one of the Original Dozen.

9. Goddess

November 26, 2003

Layla and Mr. Speedy continue their search for Nei and travel to Metis City. The Goddess Vesta has also arrived from her pilgrimage and wants to meet Nei, who is undergoing experimental research.

8. Pilgrim

November 19, 2003

Losing Jupiter, an old friend, Goddess Vesta has begun a pilgrimage around the city. Looking at an old photo of the Original Dozen, Vesta begins to express the color of deep sorrow.

7. Barbaroi

November 12, 2003

Avoiding pursuers, the three try to take refuge in an abandoned colony but run into Barbaroi. The Barbaroi explain they have been living outside of the Dome per tradition. Volk, learning of the group's whereabouts, dispatches dolls to attempt to capture.

6. Reflection

November 5, 2003

The three enter a very desolate city with some of its inhabitants sleeping on the roadside. Dolls cloaked in black are asking around if anyone has seen Layla, Nei, or Mr. Speedy. One citizen emerges to help the three, but Mr. Speedy is suspicious.

On their journey, they enter Jupiter City, governed by Jupiter, one of the Original Dozen. As soon as they enter, they encounter government officials.

Layla, Nei, and Mr. Speedy continue along and witness a complete disregard for a doll. With children no longer being born on Mars, dolls have taken their place. The adults treat dolls as toys that get discarded when they grow tired of them.

Layla and Nei begin their journey together traveling out of the city. Mr. Speedy, a doll breeder, joins them in their journey. Almost out of the city, they stop for the night only to be surrounded by dolls.

Layla Ashley has become the representative for Serena City, Mars. She wanders around speaking only few words and taunting people to try to kill her. One day, a Barbaroi named Garcia arrives at the city and finds Nei, amongst the discarded dolls.
