Ep 5. Crybabies & Cologne

Austin & Ally season 2 episode 5 "Crybabies & Cologne" follows the story of Austin and Ally as they try to improve their image. In this episode, they're both determined to show the world a different side of themselves- Austin wants to be more mature and responsible, while Ally wants to be seen as more confident and assertive.

She decides to start wearing a new perfume called "Grrrl Power" to try and give herself a more confident image. Unfortunately for her, the perfume doesn't exactly have the effect she was hoping for, and she ends up crying even more than usual.

To make matters worse, Austin accidentally spills the perfume all over himself while trying to help Ally, and now he can't seem to stop crying either. The two of them are forced to navigate their way through a day of crying and smelling like a teenage girl's bedroom, all while trying to prove to everyone that they're not the crybabies people seem to think they are.

Throughout the episode, we see Austin and Ally supporting each other in their quest to change their image. Austin helps Ally conquer her fears by taking her to do some karaoke, while Ally encourages Austin to take responsibility for his mistakes by sticking up for Trish Jr. when she's threatened by a bully.

In the end, both Austin and Ally manage to overcome their insecurities and show the world a different side of themselves. Austin proves that he can be responsible by successfully taking care of Mr. Kipling, while Ally shows off her newfound confidence by performing a song in front of a packed audience.
