Wall: Assault on Stohess, Part 3 is the 25th and final episode of the first season of the anime series Attack on Titan. The episode picks up from where the previous one left off, with Eren Jaeger transforming into a Titan in the middle of a crowded city.
As Titans continue to swarm towards Eren, Mikasa, Armin, and Levi try their best to protect him. The Military Police, on the other hand, is using this as a chance to destroy Eren and control the situation. They are willing to go to any lengths, even if it means sacrificing innocent people.
The scene quickly turns chaotic as the Titans wreak havoc on the city. The Colossal Titan also appears, and Eren attempts to fight it, but all his efforts prove futile. The Military Police tries to use Eren's appearance to their advantage, but Levi intervenes and puts them in their place.
As the tide begins to turn, the show takes a deeper turn into the plot and the secrets that surround it. New revelations are made, and the true enemies are revealed. The episode features various battles, both mental and physical, as the characters confront their fears and push their limits.
One of the primary themes of the episode is the concept of sacrificing the few for the sake of many. The Military Police are willing to kill thousands of civilians to capture Eren. Erwin, on the other hand, is willing to do the same thing, except his motives are to reveal the secrets of the government. The episode explores the moral dilemmas associated with such decisions and how they impact society.
The action sequences within this episode are exhilarating, and the animation is top-notch. The Titans are monstrosities to behold, and the attention to detail in the character artwork and design is impressive. The fluidity of the animation during fight scenes is smooth and pleasing to watch. The episode does a great job of making the audience feel the desperation and urgency of the situation.
The character development in this episode is superb. Armin confronts his cowardice and grows as a character. Eren's transformation into a Titan has disastrous consequences, and he must face the guilt associated with unknowingly causing chaos. Mikasa's character is also given more depth as she becomes a driving force behind protecting Eren.
The soundtrack for the episode is excellent and adds to the overall tone of the show. The opening theme "Guren no Yumiya" by Linked Horizon is epic and gets you in the mood for the action that is about to unfold. The ending theme "Utsukushiki Zankoku na Sekai" by Yoko Hikasa has an eerie tone that adds to the dark and mysterious nature of the show.
Overall, the episode is a great conclusion to an already impressive season. It sets up the show for future seasons and leaves fans eagerly anticipating what is to come. The story gets progressively darker and more complex as the series continues, and this episode is a perfect example of what to expect. If you are a fan of action, drama, and suspense, this episode, and the series as a whole, is not one to miss.
