After assuming the role of Pizza Bagel's lead singer, he's now the concert headliner, and Night Mayor, seeing an opportunity, hypnotizes him. Joey is transformed into a mindless puppet who sings mind-controlling verses.

Captain Atomic and his sidekick, AP, realize that the villain has hypnotized Joey and that they need to act fast to save him and the town. With time running out, Captain Atomic and AP are left to stop Night Mayor and reverse Joey's hypnosis before he permanently becomes Night Mayor's puppet.

The episode takes the audience through fast-paced action, humor and drama, as Captain Atomic and AP take on Night Mayor's shadow powers, and Joey must struggle against his mind control to come back to his senses.
