Porgy and Bess and their son Piko move in next to Astro Boy. He invites the three new neighbors over to his house but grows puzzled by their strange behavior. Things get even stranger when a group of men who look like gang members come searching for them. Meanwhile, a volcanic explosion in the South Pacific has caused a tidal wave heading straight for Japan. Astro Boy takes off carrying an agent that can freeze sea water.
