Assassination Classroom season 1 episode 13, titled Talent Time, follows the students of Class 3-E as they prepare for their annual school festival. The episode starts off with the students performing their regular assassination training, where they are taught various techniques to kill their teacher Koro-sensei, who is a powerful alien that has taken over the moon and has promised to destroy Earth in a year's time. However, the students are also preparing for the school festival, which is a chance for them to showcase their talents and skills.
As the students are discussing what to perform for the festival, they are interrupted by the arrival of a new transfer student named Itona. Itona is a mysterious boy who has a strong desire to kill Koro-sensei and has developed a fascination with him. The students are skeptical of his intentions, but decide to give him a chance and allow him to join their class.
During the festival, the students put on various performances, including a magic show, a choir performance, and a drama piece. However, the highlight of the festival is the appearance of a famous assassin named Red Eye, who comes to assassinate Koro-sensei. The students are caught off guard and are unable to defend their teacher, as Red Eye has the advantage of being invisible. However, Koro-sensei is able to anticipate his moves and defeat him.
After the festival, Itona approaches Koro-sensei and reveals his true intentions. He was created by a government agency to kill Koro-sensei, but has come to admire him and no longer wants to carry out his mission. Koro-sensei sympathizes with Itona's situation and decides to take him under his wing, much to the surprise of the other students.
Overall, Talent Time is a fun and entertaining episode that showcases the students' talents and skills. It also introduces a new character in Itona, who adds an interesting dynamic to the group. The episode also serves as a reminder that Koro-sensei is not just their teacher, but also their friend and mentor who cares about their well-being.
