When Arthur, the lovable aardvark, and his friends are forced to work on a group project for school, they quickly realize that three's a crowd. Muffy, Buster, and Francine all have their own ideas of how to approach the project, and it seems that they can't agree on anything. As the deadline approaches, tensions rise between the three friends and they must find a way to put their differences aside and work together in order to complete the project on time.
Meanwhile, in the second half of the episode, Arthur is struggling with his anger. When he gets upset about something, he tends to lash out and say things he doesn't mean. His family and friends are always there to support him, but they're starting to get fed up with his constant outbursts. It's up to Arthur to learn how to control his anger and express himself in a more positive way.
Together, the two storylines in this episode explore the difficulties of working with others and how to manage your emotions when things don't go your way. As always, Arthur and his friends offer valuable lessons for children of all ages about friendship, communication, and self-control.
