D.W.'s Time Trouble / Buster's Amish Mismatch is the seventh episode of the seventh season of the popular animated television series Arthur. The episode is divided into two stories, each revolving around a member of Arthur's gang.

The first story, "D.W.'s Time Trouble," stars none other than the youngest member of the family, D.W. While visiting her grandmother, D.W. discovers an old grandfather clock in the attic. Fascinated by the clock, D.W. decides to wind it up, not realizing the consequences of her actions.

After winding up the clock, D.W. finds herself transported back in time to the 18th century, where she meets a group of colonial kids. D.W. is excited to explore the past and have some fun, but quickly learns that life was very different back then. She struggles to fit in and make friends with the colonial children, who are confused by her modern attire and speech.

Meanwhile, back in the present day, Arthur is worried about his missing sister and sets out to find her. Along the way, he realizes that the grandfather clock is responsible for D.W.'s disappearance and seeks help from his friends to figure out how it works. With the help of technology, they are able to track down D.W. in the past and bring her back to the present, just in time for dinner.

The second story, "Buster's Amish Mismatch," focuses on Buster, Arthur's best friend. Buster becomes interested in the Amish lifestyle after reading a book about them, and decides to visit an Amish community to learn more.

Upon arriving, Buster quickly realizes that there are many cultural differences between the Amish and his own lifestyle. He struggles to adapt to the Amish way of life and finds himself making a series of embarrassing mistakes. He also has trouble connecting with the Amish children, who are shy and reserved around him.

Despite these difficulties, Buster persists in his effort to learn about the Amish and their way of life. He makes new friends and eventually gains a better understanding of their beliefs and practices. By the end of the episode, Buster realizes that while he may not be able to fully embrace the Amish way of life, he appreciates their dedication to their community and to each other.

Overall, "D.W.'s Time Trouble / Buster's Amish Mismatch" is a fun and engaging episode of Arthur that explores the themes of time travel and cultural differences. Both stories are well-executed and provide valuable lessons for children about acceptance, understanding, and empathy.
