At the start of the episode, Arthur and his friends are tasked with making a video about their town, Elwood City, for a contest that will be judged by a famous filmmaker. While brainstorming, they each come up with unique ideas, but cannot agree on which one to choose. Eventually, they all decide to combine their ideas into one video.

The first challenge they face is finding a way to capture all of the different aspects of their town in one cohesive video. They decide to divide into groups and focus on different parts of the town such as the local diner, the library, and the park. The group working on the park encounters some issues when it begins to rain, but they get creative and use the rain to their advantage, adding a unique touch to their footage.

As the filming continues, the group realizes that they need to include some interviews with residents of Elwood City to give the video more depth. They interview various people including the mayor, a librarian, and a park ranger. During the interviews, they learn more about what makes their town so special and are filled with pride for where they live.

However, their biggest challenge comes when they discover that one of their classmates, Muffy, has also entered the contest and has made a slick, professionally produced video. Arthur and his friends become discouraged, but they remember that they have something Muffy doesn't - their genuine passion for their town.

In the end, the famous filmmaker judges the videos and surprisingly chooses Arthur and his friends' video as the winner. The group is overjoyed and proud of their hard work and dedication.

The episode ends with a lesson about the importance of teamwork, perseverance, and being true to oneself. It also highlights the beauty and unique qualities of small towns like Elwood City and encourages viewers to take pride in where they come from.
