Ep 2. The Children of Prophecy: Episode 2

In Arthdal Chronicles season 1 episode 2, titled "The Children of Prophecy: Episode 2," we see the continuation of the story as the three different tribes - the Wahan, the Neanthal, and the Arthdal Union - are introduced to each other. Tagon, the Arthdal Union leader's son, has been tasked with hunting down the Neanthal tribe who are considered to be the 'enemies' of the Arthdal Union. Meanwhile, Eunseom, a member of the Wahan tribe, comes across a village of the Neanthal tribe, where he sees a girl, Tanya, who he believes is the same person he saw in his visions. As Eunseom is about to leave the village, he is discovered by Tagon and his army.
The episode then depicts the battle between the Neanthal tribe and the Arthdal Union army led by Tagon. Eunseom, who is caught in the midst of the battle, saves Tanya and takes her away from the battlefield. As Eunseom and Tanya escape, they are pursued by Tagon's men and eventually end up falling off a cliff. The episode ends with Eunseom and Tanya lying at the bottom of the cliff, with their fate unknown.
The episode also delves deeper into Arthdal rituals and beliefs, and we see the Arthdal Union perform a ceremony where they sacrifice a prisoner to the god of war and fertility, in the hopes of gaining victory in battle. Additionally, Asa Ron, the Arthdal Union leader, is shown to be aware of the prophecy that a child born with a mark on his back will bring about the downfall of Arthdal, and seeks to eliminate any potential threats to his reign.
Overall, episode 2 of Arthdal Chronicles season 1 continues to build up the world and characters, and we see more of the conflict and alliances between the different tribes and factions. The episode also leaves viewers with several questions and cliffhangers, building up anticipation for the upcoming episodes.
