Ep 7. The Tale of the Dead Man's Float

In the seventh episode of Are You Afraid of the Dark?'s first season, titled "The Tale of the Dead Man's Float," a group of friends decide to sneak into their school's swimming pool after hours to go for a late-night swim. While they're there, they discover that the pool used to be a cemetery and that the ghosts of the people buried there may not be at rest.

Things start to get creepy when one of the friends, Zeke, decides to dive to the bottom of the pool, where he discovers a mysterious ghostly figure. The figure seems to be trying to communicate with him, but he can't understand what it's saying. As the friends continue to explore the pool and the area surrounding it, they begin to uncover more and more strange and unsettling clues about what happened there in the past.

As the night wears on, the friends start to realize that they may be in serious danger from the vengeful spirits of the dead. They must figure out how to appease the ghostly figures before it's too late and they become trapped in the pool forever. This episode is a chilling exploration of the horror of what lies beneath, as the friends navigate a scary and confusing world of ghosts and spirits.
