Meanwhile, Dev and Astrid are dealing with issues of their own. Dev has been struggling to come to terms with the end of his marriage, and his grief has been manifesting in troubling ways. It becomes clear that he's begun drinking during the day, and his behavior becomes increasingly erratic and unpredictable. Astrid, who has been doing her best to support him, begins to realize that she may not be able to help him on her own.

As the episode progresses, tensions begin to rise among the crew of Arctic Air. Bobby, Mel, and Krista all begin to sense that there's something off about Sean, but they can't quite put their finger on it. At the same time, Dev's behavior becomes increasingly concerning, and Astrid is forced to make a difficult decision about how best to help him.
