In the second episode of the sixth season of Aqua Teen Hunger Force, titled "Sirens," the trio of fast food items-turned-detectives - Master Shake, Frylock, and Meatwad - find themselves in over their heads when they attempt to solve a murder mystery in their neighborhood.
The episode begins as the Aqua Teens stumble upon a group of attractive female sirens singing on the beach. However, before they have a chance to enjoy the mermaids' dulcet tones, they are interrupted by the arrival of a police helicopter. The officers inform the trio that a gruesome murder has occurred nearby and they are instructed to stay away from the crime scene.
Determined to solve the mystery themselves, the Aqua Teens spring into action, interrogating suspects and gathering clues. However, their investigation is complicated by the fact that they are all terrible detectives, with Shake even resorting to accusing a rock of murder.
As they delve deeper into the case, the Aqua Teens begin to suspect that the murderer might be one of the sirens themselves. They lure one of the mermaids back to their house, where Frylock uses his scientific expertise to perform an autopsy on the victim's remains. However, their interrogation is cut short when they are ambushed by a group of sirens, who reveal that they have been watching the Aqua Teens' every move.
The episode quickly spirals into chaos as the sirens reveal their true intentions - to lure the Aqua Teens into their underwater kingdom and enslave them. The trio manages to narrowly escape the sirens' clutches, but not before uncovering a shocking twist in the murder case.
Overall, "Sirens" is a darkly comedic episode that plays with traditional detective tropes and subverts audience expectations. It's a fun and twisted ride that will leave viewers guessing until the very end.
