Watch Ape

Trevor Newandyke is a struggling, young, amateurish, stand-up comedian in the 1980s. He works at the local comedy club. During the day, he struggles with rising debt, his passion with pyromania, and rap music. Trevor has no day job and barely makes any money at the comedy club. His cable television is cancelled because he can't afford to pay the bill. The week that a talent scout comes to the club, Trevor's act is bumped because he never has brought anyone in to see his act. His main competition is a guy named Dennis Spicer who can imitate Sylvester Stallone.
