In episode 27 of season 8 of Antiques Road Trip, our two presenters embark on a journey to explore the hidden gems of Kent. Beginning their road trip in Canterbury, they visit a local antiques fair where they come across a beautiful 18th-century longcase clock. Intrigued by the item, they soon discover that it was made by a famous clockmaker who worked for the Royal Navy, and has a fascinating history.

Moving on to Margate, the presenters explore the town's seaside heritage and indulge in some of the best fish and chips in the area. They then visit a local auction house, where they meet a passionate auctioneer who shows them a rare collection of decorative tiles from the Victorian era. Impressed by the tiles' intricate designs and colours, our presenters decide to bid for the set, hoping to add them to their haul.

The next stop on their journey takes them to the historic town of Rochester, where they visit a local antique dealer who specialises in vintage art. They are immediately drawn to a beautiful watercolour painting by an artist who is known for his love of the outdoors. Our presenters are struck by the painting's vibrant colours and detailed brushwork, and hope to add it to their collection.

Next up is the charming village of Faversham, where the presenters visit a local dealer who has a passion for vintage toys. They are delighted to find a collection of tin soldiers from the early 20th century, which were made by a well-known manufacturer. The presenters are fascinated by the intricate details of the soldiers, and decide to make an offer on the collection.

Their final stop takes them to the charming village of Cranbrook, where they visit a local dealer who specialises in vintage jewellery. They are captivated by a beautiful Art Deco bracelet, which is encrusted with diamonds and sapphires. The presenters marvel at the bracelet's exquisite craftsmanship and intricate design, and decide to bid for it at auction.

Throughout their journey, our presenters encounter a wealth of fascinating antiques and objects, each with their own unique history and story to tell. With their eyes firmly fixed on the prize, they will do whatever it takes to secure the best items at auction and make a profit on their journey. Will they succeed in their quest, or will they come up empty-handed? Tune in to find out in episode 27 of Antiques Road Trip.
