In this episode of Antiques Road Trip, two expert antique dealers, Charles Hanson and Catherine Southon, embark on a road trip across the UK in search of valuable and interesting antiques. From vintage cars to rare pottery, they explore some of the country's most historic locations in their quest for hidden treasures.

Starting their journey in Fancourt, Kent, Charles and Catherine visit an antique shop where they find an impressive mahogany sideboard. With its elegant design and intricate carvings, this piece could be worth a significant amount of money at auction. However, the dealers soon discover that the piece has been restored, which could impact its value.

Next, the duo head to the picturesque town of Rye, where they visit an antiques fair in search of unique finds. Catherine is drawn to a set of antique silver candlesticks, while Charles discovers an unusual Art Deco cocktail shaker. After some negotiation, they manage to purchase both items for a reasonable price.

Their next stop is in Lewes, where they visit a dealer specialising in vintage cars. Charles is particularly interested in a classic Jaguar E-Type, which he believes could be a valuable addition to his personal collection. However, the dealer's asking price is above Charles' budget, so he decides to move on.

In Portsmouth, the dealers visit an antique shop that specialises in nautical antiques. Catherine is impressed by a rare compass from the 18th century, while Charles discovers a set of naval binoculars. They both make purchases, hoping to make a profit when they are sold at auction.

Continuing their journey, the duo arrives in Gloucester, where they explore a huge antiques centre filled with a wide variety of items. Catherine is excited to find a pair of Art Nouveau vases, while Charles discovers a rare collection of vintage fishing gear. They both make successful purchases and continue on their way.

In their final destination of the day, the dealers visit an auction house to see how their purchases will fare on the market. They are surprised to see that the mahogany sideboard has attracted a lot of interest, despite its restoration. The Art Nouveau vases and the vintage fishing gear also sell well, but the Jaguar E-Type fails to reach its reserve price.

Overall, this episode of Antiques Road Trip is full of exciting finds and unexpected twists. Charles and Catherine's expertise and negotiating skills are put to the test as they search for the perfect antiques to add to their collections. With stunning scenery and fascinating insights into the world of antiques, this episode is a must-watch for fans of the show and anyone interested in the art of collecting.
