Antiques Road Trip is a British television program that follows antiques experts as they travel around the UK in search of valuable and interesting items. In each episode, two experts are paired together and given a budget to purchase antiques at various locations, hoping to sell them for a profit at auction.

In season 4, episode 4, the experts on the road are Margie Cooper and Raj Bisram. Margie is a well-known antiques dealer, specializing in ceramics, glass, and silver, while Raj is a former teacher turned antiques dealer, with a passion for rare and unusual items.

The episode begins with Margie and Raj setting off from their starting point in Dover and heading towards their first location in the town of Rye. Along the way, they stop off at a local car boot sale to see if they can pick up any bargains. Margie is immediately drawn to a set of antique silver spoons, while Raj spots a vintage oil painting that he believes could be worth a lot of money.

After spending some time at the car boot sale, Margie and Raj head to Rye, where they spend the afternoon scouring the town's many antique shops and markets. Margie is particularly interested in finding some unique examples of glassware, while Raj is on the lookout for anything that catches his eye.

At one of the shops, Margie is delighted to discover a beautiful glass decanter, which she believes is a rare example of early 19th-century British glassmaking. Raj, meanwhile, finds a set of Victorian alabaster figurines, which he thinks could be very valuable.

As the day draws to a close, Margie and Raj head back to their hotel to tally up their purchases. They are both pleased with their finds and confident that they will make a profit at auction.

The next morning, Margie and Raj set off for their next location: the village of Hawkhurst. Along the way, they stop off at a local antique country house, where they admire the fine collection of antiques on display. Margie is particularly taken with a beautiful Chinese vase, which she believes could be worth a significant amount of money.

In Hawkhurst, Margie and Raj spend the day visiting various antique shops and markets, hoping to find some hidden gems. Raj is particularly excited to visit a local auction house, where he hopes to bid on a rare antique book he discovered during his research.

At one of the markets, Margie finds a stunning enamel pill box, which she is convinced is a rare example of 18th-century French craftsmanship. Raj, meanwhile, spots a set of mid-century modern chairs which he thinks could be very popular with collectors.

With their shopping complete, Margie and Raj head back to their hotel to prepare for the auction. As they review their purchases, they discuss their strategies for getting the best possible prices at auction.

At the auction, Margie and Raj watch nervously as their items are sold one by one. Some of their items sell for more than they expected, while others fail to attract any bids at all. In the end, they are pleased with their overall profit and congratulate each other on a successful trip.

Overall, in season 4, episode 4, Margie and Raj demonstrate their expertise in antiques, using their knowledge, experience, and intuition to spot valuable items and make profitable purchases.
