In episode 24 of Antiques Road Trip season 3, we follow two expert antique dealers as they travel throughout Scotland in search of valuable and unique items to purchase and sell at auction. The two dealers, James Braxton and Christina Trevanion, set off on their journey in a vintage Triumph car, with Christina taking the wheel.
Their first stop is at the historic Culzean Castle, where they meet with the property manager and get a tour of the castle's impressive collection of antiques. James is immediately drawn to a set of ornate silver serving dishes from the late 18th century, while Christina is more interested in a pair of delicate porcelain figurines. After some negotiating, the dealers make their purchases and head off to their next destination.
Next, James and Christina visit the charming town of Dumfries, where they explore the local antique shops and try to find hidden gems among the clutter. James discovers a beautiful Art Deco lamp that he is sure will bring in a good profit, while Christina stumbles upon a unique set of antique hat pins.
As the day wears on, the dealers head to an outdoor market in search of affordable items to flip for a profit. James manages to haggle down the price of an antique chest, while Christina finds an intriguing piece of silverware that she believes could be worth a lot of money.
Throughout the episode, James and Christina banter back and forth, with James often teasing Christina for being too optimistic about the value of certain items. At one point, they even make a bet on whether or not a set of vintage curling stones will sell at auction.
The episode concludes with James and Christina presenting their purchases at auction, hoping that they will make a profit. As always, the tension runs high as the dealers wait to see if their items will sell, and for how much. Will James or Christina come out on top in this episode of Antiques Road Trip? Tune in to find out!
