During this episode of Antiques Road Trip season 3, two experts in antiques embark on a journey across the UK, in search of antique treasures. Experts David Barby and James Braxton each set off in their own classic car, starting their journey in the West Country.

Their first stop is at an antique store in Bridport, where the two experts spend some time browsing the items on offer. Here, they come across an interesting bronze Buddha, which they examine closely. The experts also take a look at some antique leather-bound books, which they deem to be of high quality.

From there, the experts make their way to Sherborne Castle, which is home to a vast collection of antiques. Here, David and James meet with the curator of the castle, who shows them around some of the most interesting pieces in the collection. Among the treasures they view are a rare pair of 18th century gold candelabra, intricately designed bronze vases, and an impressive ivory chess set.

Following their visit to the castle, the experts head to the market town of Frome, where they split up to search for antique treasures. David heads to a local auction house, where he takes his chances bidding on a large oak cupboard. James, on the other hand, explores an antique store, where he finds an unusual 20th century statue of a horse.

Next, the two experts travel to the town of Warminster, where they visit a ceramics expert. Here, they learn more about some of the most prized vintage ceramics, such as Lladro and Royal Worcester. David also brings along an antique ceramic vase, which he hopes to get appraised.

From there, the experts take a trip to the city of Bristol, where they visit an art dealer. Here, they are shown some of the most outstanding pieces in the collection, including a beautiful oil painting by the artist Joseph Mallord William Turner. They also admire a set of finely crafted Regency chairs, and a rare 18th century Chinese vase.

The experts then make their way to the picturesque town of Wells, where they visit a local clockmaker. Here, they are shown some of the most valuable and intricate timepieces, including a rare 18th century French skeleton clock. The clockmaker also demonstrates how he restores antique clocks to their former glory.

As the episode comes to a close, the two experts make their way to a final auction in Esher. Each expert brings along the items they have acquired during their travels, hoping to make a profit. The auction gets underway as the bidding starts, and tensions rise as the experts anxiously await the final sale prices of their items.

Overall, this episode of Antiques Road Trip showcases some of the most fascinating and valuable antiques found across the UK. David and James each provide their own insight and expertise, making for an entertaining and informative show.
