In season 17, episode 3 of Antiques Road Trip, the show's team takes to the road once again in search of the most exciting and valuable antiques the UK has to offer. Hosted by the charismatic antique experts, Tim Medhurst and Margie Cooper, the show features the duo visiting antique shops, markets, and fairgrounds all around the UK as they look to buy antiques and collectibles.

The episode kicks off as Tim and Margie hop on their classic car and head out to Cambridgeshire’s East of England Arena, which hosts one of the country's biggest antique fairs. The pair take a tour of the fairgrounds, admiring the array of objects on display, ranging from vintage cameras, pottery, jewellery, furniture, textiles, and more.

As the two experts visit various stands, Margie spots a set of stunning art deco perfume bottles and quickly snaps them up, while Tim sets his sights on a beautiful marble statue of a maiden. The two then take their finds over to Nuneaton's Antique Auction House to see if their antiques stacked up against the competition.

At the auction house, the pair meet up with auctioneer Charles Hanson and take a look around the shop floor, where a range of unique and rare antiques are being sold, including a highly coveted 19th-century olive wood snuff box. With the auction in full swing, Tim puts his marble statue up for sale, hoping to fetch a good price, while Margie tries her luck with the perfume bottles.

After the auction, the road trippers venture out to yet another fair, this time in the town of Malvern. The fine antique fair has everything from vintage clothing and jewellery to furniture and tapestries. Tim and Margie peruse the stands, with Margie taken with a beautifully crafted Edwardian mirror that she just has to have. Tim, meanwhile, is searching for a rare antique book to add to his collection and comes across a stunning copy of Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice."

As the day goes on, Tim and Margie continue their hunt, visiting the picturesque market town of Ludlow. Here, they explore some of the best antique shops and flea markets, browsing through the vast array of items available, including some rare stamps, Georgian furniture, and an exquisite set of diamond earrings.

The episode ends as the duo head back to the auction house to see how their purchases fared. Did their antiques realize a significant profit?
