In Episode 18 of season 15 of Antiques Road Trip, two antique experts set off on a thrilling journey across the UK in search of valuable antiques that they can purchase and sell at auction for a profit. This episode features expert Natasha Raskin Sharp and veteran antiques dealer Margie Cooper.
The two experts start their journey in the picturesque town of Farnham in Surrey. The first stop on their trip is a local antiques center, where the duo browses through a vast collection of antiques, ranging from vintage clothing to rare collectibles. Natasha and Margie are on the lookout for unique items that they can snatch up at bargain prices, and hopefully sell for a handsome sum at auction.
Their next stop takes them to a stunning stately home in Wiltshire. The expert team meets Lady Lansdowne, who shows them around her magnificent estate and explains the history behind some of the antiques on display. Natasha and Margie are particularly impressed with a set of silver candelabras, which they believe could fetch a tidy sum at auction.
The team then head down to Somerset, where they visit a local antiques fair. Here, they have to rummage through new and old items placed randomly in different stalls in the hope of finding something valuable. The stress of running against time and navigating through various vendor booths becomes evident as they work hard to find the ideal pieces for their auction collection.
Their next stop takes the two experts to a quaint antique shop in Taunton. Here, they stumble upon an exquisite Art Deco lamp, which they can't resist adding to their collection. They continue their search in the shop and find a pair of beautiful Georgian side tables that they think will be perfect for their auction.
Later, they take a train ride to the historic city of Bath. Here, they visit an antique center and stumble upon a rare brass telescope, which they hope will bring in a good profit at auction. They also find a beautiful set of copper pans, which could be perfect for a collector's set.
Finally, the team goes to an auction house in Bristol, where they have to present their collection to bidders and determine their overall value. The auction is exciting, with various bidders competing to get their hands on some of the rare items on offer. The final bids are tallied and, at the end of the day, the team discovers whether their shopping instincts have paid off.
