Antiques Road Trip returns with Season 14 Episode 9 titled 'Episode 9'. In this episode, expert dealers Paul Laidlaw and Margie Cooper are on a mission to find valuable gems from the South West of England.
The two travel through the picturesque countryside of Devon and Cornwall, visiting a variety of interesting locations including a stately home, a salvage yard, and a vintage auction. They begin their journey at Powderham Castle, which has been the ancestral home of the Earl of Devon since the 14th century. Margie finds an intriguing set of 19th-century watercolours, while Paul discovers a leather-bound Holy Bible which may be worth a small fortune.
Next, the dealers visit the old sea port of Falmouth, where they explore a treasure trove of antiques at St Michael's Mount. Margie sets her sights on some antique glassware, while Paul uncovers a rare Victorian photograph album. They then head to Plymouth, where Margie finds a pair of exquisite 18th-century vases, and Paul falls in love with an antique American grandfather clock.
The pair then make their way to the charming village of Tavistock, where they meet some key players in the antiques trade to find out which items are causing a stir at the moment. They're also shocked to discover an unusual piece of furniture, which could be worth several thousand pounds.
Finally, the dealers arrive at the East of England Showground in Peterborough for the big finale, where they're tasked with selling their finds at auction.
